Instant notifications

Depending on the issue, relevant officers (management/supervisor, maintenance, QC) will receive an instant notification on which they will have to act and feedback to the system after solving.

Production interruptions

For production interruptions on any machines, the system can be set to alert supervisor via a notification. The machine operator indicates the problem via pre-set buttons on the M-Box:

  • Machine defective / Maintenance
  • No operator available for production
  • Program Problem
  • Change Parts
  • No Wire (EDM only)

Electricity waste

When a machine consumes electricity without producing, a notification is sent. Most of the time the operator forgot to switch off the machine. Any a-typical electricity consumption should be flagged to responsible persons as this may involve safety issues.

Mould Cost Analysis

To achieve set targets in cost analysis and cost control of the projects (the moulds in production) we introduce a smart card system that monitors and records all relevant data of the different phases of production.
All project-related smart cards come with easy-recognizable color codes.

M-box staff tracking

M-box staff tracking keeps track of who is on the premises and their working hours. People that are off-duty can select not to be disturbed by notifications.

The True Cost Price

For every completed project (mould) the system automatically calculates the true cost price based on power consumption, material cost, operator cost and allocated overhead cost (as predetermined in the settings)
